A Highway of Holiness
Isaiah
11:16
16 There will be a highway for the remnant of His people Who will
be left from Assyria, As it was for Israel In the day that he
came up from the land of Egypt.
Isaiah
19:23-25
23 In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria,
and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria,
and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians.
24 In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria
- a blessing in the midst of the land,
25 whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, "Blessed is
Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel
My inheritance."
Isaiah
35:8-10
8 A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called
the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But
it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool,
Shall not go astray.
9 No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on
it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there,
10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion
with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall
obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

40:3-5
3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness "Prepare the
way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert A highway for our
God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought
low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places
smooth;
5 The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, And all flesh shall
see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."
Isaiah
49:11-13
11 I will make each of My mountains a road, And My highways shall
be elevated.
12 Surely these shall come from afar; Look! Those from the north
and the west, And these from the land of Sinim."
13 Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing,
O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people, And will have
mercy on His afflicted. |
